Located in a historic home of Savannah, GA. This home's original living room ceiling medallion was restored during a 2-week process in my free time on the weekends and in the evening hours after work. Perched upon scaffolding to reach the high ceiling, I rebuilt the deteriorated and cracked surfaces of the plaster. Afterwards, I applied a basecoat, color (a neutral taupe with a cobalt blue accent according to the home owner's taste), and gold-leafing before applying a clear sealant to protect the new surface. This project was completed during the June heat while the remainder of the house was going through a major renovation before it could be reinhabited.
